Give Me A Job...

I am thirty two years old, have a university degree and yet can't get a job stacking supermarket shelves. I have finished breeding and believe that I am strong, honest and reliable.

Please give me a job.

Anyone?

I'm liking these nibblies - maybe you could write one of those little books they sell next to the cash register in bookstore and just stuff them full of these little thoughts. Hey they write about all sorts nowadays, so you never know!
Anyway, I'll be reading..
I think the fact that you're honest and reliable may get in the way of you getting a job ;) - I mean really who is that these days.

Hey there samscomps; and there I was thinking nobody ever read my nibblies!
I have thought of writing one of those little 'coffee table/xmas-stocking filler' books you mentioned; mine was going to be '50 Things to write on your Tombstone'; you know like "I Quit" or "I Feel Rotten" but I only came up with thirty six of them;and I'm a shit drawer to boot- so I gave that idea up. Then I tried my hand at computer-drawn cartoons of mental people like myself- one was attempting to hitchhike with a sign that says "Crazy and Unmedicated" but like my little cartoon-man I never got anywhere with that either.
Anyhow thanks for reading- should ever my nibblies be sold in a book I hope I can rely on you to purchase a copy. Between you and my Mother I will have sold a guareenteed two!

hey i bet you can come up with 14 more things to write on your tombstome if you just go back to it.. "here lies... ah I give up.." yeah and i just came up with that could you tell! :P
anyway no harm in trying i say. And not all little books have drawings in them. Also do u know how many people have gotten book deals thru their blogs - well not that many but hey there's a fair few :)
PS:yeah i'm from sydney - my mum and brother lived in newcastle but i didnt - infact my mum taught at newcastle university - but that's giving a bit too much away about me.

Hi
Hey- I liked that one- come up aith a few more and we'll co-write- you don't draw perchance?! (Is that even a word?)

My eldest son keeps asking me how the tombstones are going- he gets a kick out of most of them; though he didn't like the "Remember How Pathetic I Was?" one. Still- he's probably my only fan- my Hubby just thinks I'm crazy. Well- he's right. But who knows- I may just resurrect my tombstones one day; it'll get me off the couch at least!

And if there is six degrees of seperation in the world then Newcastle has only two- and seeing as I was at Newcastle University for nine-yeah nine-years there's every chance I would have at least heard of your Mum. Not that I'd expect you to tell- you know nothing about me except that I admit to being crazy. I hardly blame you at all. Really.

Jokes aside. Thanks for reading. I'll pop up at your blog sometime soon!
